Impact of Thailand Flooding on Honda of the UK Manufacturing

Honda would like to express our deepest sympathy and concern for the victims of the devastating floods in Thailand.

As the flooding in Thailand continues, a number of Honda suppliers in Asia are currently unable to maintain parts production, which is disrupting the flow of parts to our production operations in Europe and other regions. Whilst the vast majority of parts used to produce Honda’s European-built products are sourced in Europe, a few parts are sourced from Thailand.

From 31 October, Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM) will temporarily reduce its weekly production volume. The parts supply situation is being assessed on a daily basis and it is likely that production adjustments may have to continue in the short term.

Honda regrets any inconvenience this may cause to our customers and dealers and we are working closely with our suppliers in Thailand and throughout our global network to re-establish the flow of parts. Once supply stabilises, HUM will quickly resume full production.
