Legendarul compozitor, vocalist si chitarist, castigator a 19 premii Grammy, Eric Clapton va lansa, pe data de 11 mai, o noua compilatie best of intitulata "Forever Man".
Nu mai putin de 51 de piese cuprinse in trei discuri rezuma contributia lui Eric Clapton la traiectoria muzicii rock si blues. Colectia include piese ca "Change The World", "Tears in Heaven", "Bad Love", dar si materiale de pe albumele premiate cu Grammy, "From the Cradle" si "Unplugged". Invitati speciali sunt B.B. King si J.J. Cale.
Cele trei discuri vor contine piese inregistrate in studio, inregistrari live si piese de blues.
Lansarea lui "Forever Man" coincinde cu startul unui turneu compus din 9 concerte prin care Eric isi aniverseaza cei 70 de ani de viata pe care ii va implini pe 30 martie. Show-urile vor avea loc in locatii de prestigiu precum Madison Square Garden (New York) sau Royal Albert Hall (Londra). In cadrul concertelor, Clapton va fi acompaniat de membrii trupei sale: Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White si Michelle John, iar in deschidere va canta Andy Fairweather Low and the Low Riders.
"Forever Man" va fi disponibil in mai multe formate: CD, vinil si digital. Pachetele vor fi insotite si de cateva cuvinte scrise de reputatul jurnalist specializat pe muzica rock, Malcolm Dorne.
