Responsibilities:
· Plan, develop and implement appropriate media relations strategies and positioning for a range of company clients · Build constant relationship with the clients and media, based on good results, relevant feedback and pro-activity
· Present draft press releases, write and/or edits material for various external audiences, including community newsletter, speeches, presentation materials, correspondence, and other media
· Develop and implement PR strategies and tactics for actual and potential clients
· Manage various projects that advance the company’s brand, coordinate internal and external communications projects
· Establish and build relationships with external stakeholders on behalf of the company
Requirements:
· Typically requires a BA or / and MA degree in communications, liberal arts, business or social science-oriented field
· Minimum 5 years related media or public relations experience in private / public sector
· Excellent press release, copywriting, and general public relations writing skills
· Strong verbal communication
· Experience managing client accounts and client interaction
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task and to adapt in a fast-paced environment
· Capable of handling complex projects under tight deadlines
· Absolute integrity, sound work ethic and stable work history
A person with a background in media and publicity, public relations or public administration will be well suited to this job. PR Agency experience is a plus.
Salary to be negotiated based on education and work experience.
